New website on its way

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

To accompany the new material we’ll be posting (likely in the form of “jam session” videos), we’re working on a new website. We’ve gone through a few different designs in the past, but none of them have had quite the functionality & simplicity we’re looking for (although we’re very appreciative of the work Bill & The Syndicate did for us!).

For now, we mostly hang out on our Facebook Page, although Adam and I have been known to peruse our Forum from time to time. Apologies for those who were unable to access it while our site was redirected. It’s back up.

Cheers,

We’re on a Cleopatra Records compilation album for unsigned metal artists.

Friday, July 15th, 2011

Our buds at Cleopatra Records were nice enough to put us on a digital compilation album along with other unsigned artists they dig. Feel free to check out a sampler at their SoundCloud page (here), and/or grab the whole thing on iTunes for just $6!

FYI

Two Kick-Ass Minneapolis Shows in March (but without Curt :/)

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011

On March 11th, we’ll be performing at The Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis, MN with The Atlas Moth (kick-ass “Psychedelic Metal” from Illinois) and Wolvhammer, our favorite local crusty/sludgy Black Metal buds! We’re beyond excited for this show, although Curt will unfortunately be out of town, touring with Mose Giganticus to SXSW. Lucky bastard!

March 26th will see us playing with The Great Sabatini (Progressive Sludge from Canada), and local boys Torch the Spires (punkish rock) and One-Dimensional Man (the one and only Nolan from Frontier doing his one-man spaceship post project). One reason we’re digging this show is because we’ve never played Hell’s Kitchen before, but we’re told it’s exceptionally awesome, and it may or may not be a little weird that they’re doing a metal show there, so… come wear a suit, drink martinis, and headbang!

Upgraded Comments System FTW!

Sunday, February 13th, 2011

I don’t know about you, but it seems like a lot of the websites I frequent are starting to use the Disqus comments system. The reason I dig it is because I can log in through my Facebook or Twitter (or a few other sites) in order to comment, instead of having to sign up for each website individually. Any way, I looked into it, and it turns out their service is free and very easily integrated with a WordPress site, so I went ahead and did it. What do you think? I dig it!

Theoretically, with the new comments system in place, combined with a few potential revamps of the site in general, we’ll have a more interactive site in 2011 than we have in previous years. That said, our Facebook is still the best place to check out what’s going on & have a conversation with us for now. See you there!

Cheers,
